Sandra Rodriguez-Toledo, Vice President, Site Operations at Amgen Ohio, Inducted Into Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame

With more than 30 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, Sandra Rodriguez-Toledo embodies Amgen’s commitment in striving to serve every patient, every time. Based on her contributions to the manufacturing industry and her dedication as a role model for future generations of women in manufacturing, she was recently inducted into the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

Rodriguez-Toledo joined Amgen in 2013 at the company's largest manufacturing facility, in Puerto Rico, where she played key roles in manufacturing excellence, from the approval of a new commercial facility to weathering Hurricane Maria and the COVID pandemic. In her current role as vice president of Site Operations for Amgen Ohio, she oversees the assembly, labeling, and packaging of Amgen medicines to ensure supply for patients, as well as ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Rodriguez-Toledo has also long served as role model and advocate for women in manufacturing, thanks to her passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing the next generation as they grow in their careers.
