For a fifth consecutive year, Amgen has earned placement on the highly selective Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World Index. Amgen was additionally named to the North America Index for the sixth year in a row.
The DJSI are the world’s first and most respected indices measuring environmental, social and governance criteria with a strong focus on long-term shareholder value. Amgen is one of only three companies in the Biotechnology sector to be placed on the World Index, which consists of companies representing leading sustainability performance in their industry.
Amgen was among more than 3,400 listed companies invited to take part in the RobeccoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment. The annual sustainability evaluation covers a wide range of sustainability topics spanning environmental, social and governance categories.
